The Mysterious Package

Something old. Something new. But something mysterious is quite few.

Contrary to my previous belief, Australia Post is actually open on Saturdays. You just have to get there by 12pm as they only open for half the day.

Luckily, I found that out from the Australia Post website.

So now I have my package. It now clearly says my name on the package (not this name with random letters as on the postal slip) but I still don’t know what is inside.

There’s no address on it for the “From” field. There’s nothing on the back. No stamps can be found on the parcel. Only a post box address and some numbers written on it can be found.

As I am certain its for me, I started opening it… duh, what did you expect me to do? Continue reading ‘The Mysterious Package’

Two things

According to Google’s definition of things (wtf, Google has a dictionary embedded in it now? Wow, this Tecknowlogee is going everywhere) the word things means “any movable possession”.

Little note: Google doesn’t actually have a dictionary. They just compile other dictionaries.

Well, that seems to describe what I wanted to talk about. The two objects. That I now hold.

Let me tell you about the first object. It is thick. It is heavy. It contains objects inside itself. And I have been awaiting it for ages. I got it on Wednesday. It is red, and has a lion at the front of it.

Now let me describe the second object to you. It is thin. It has a blue border. It has Australia Post on it. I have also been awaiting it for ages (if my guess on what it holds is correct). It symbolises something. I got it this Friday, which means just a few hours ago.

Now, these two things are what I am going to talk about in this post. Continue reading ‘Two things’

The story of today

This story now concerns the happening of yesterday, the 29th.

How bad can it get?

Well, it’s better than normal, yet its still the worse of the better days. That is, if you get what I mean. Which you probably don’t.

The day started with English. Yay. We went to the Sydney Morning Herald website to look for letters to the editor but I somehow stumbled upon a travel blog’s post on it about the “Mile HIgh Club”. Read about it here: http://blogs.smh.com.au/travel/archives/2008/05/the_mile_high_myth.html. Obviously, this is not content suited to “students attending school”. The teacher walked around and asked me what it was. I just thought about it and calmly said “nothing”. Yes, of course its nothing.

We normally have periods 1, 2 and 3 after rollcall. Somehow this was replaced by church service and therefore periods 1 and 2 were missed. After church service, there was recess. It was a 40 minute recess, which was a lot longer than the normal 18 minutes or so we get each day.

The “so tired of” List

I have a list. Do you have a list?

“Lets… make a list!”

No… not “The Rich List”. That’s just there because I felt like putting it there. Not everybody likes “The Rich List”. I hated it ever since the Chasers made fun of it on a bus. This is no kind of rich list. This is just a list.

  1. AOL Instant Messenger
  2. ICQ
  3. Windows Live Search’s interface always changing!
  4. Exams
  5. Making lists
  6. Age of Conan not being delivered
  7. Letters from overseas
  8. Letters not addressed to me
  9. Listening in class
  10. Typing
  11. Sitting infront of the computer
  12. Browsing websites which aren’t updating
  13. Printing random material out of the printer
  14. The dreadful noise of the old desktop still running
  15. A person speaking French to me in a group
  16. Doing “practise competitions”
  17. Waiting for exam results
  18. The tiredness
  19. Colds and flus
  20. Non-updating blogs
