At the beginning…

And Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river I want to keep flowing
Life is a road now and forever
A Wonderful journey

I won’t post any “popular” songs here. Afterall, if you want the popular songs, you can just go onto iTunes and click the “Top Songs” button. I am just recommending a song which you might like to listen to if you like the “happy, flowing, can-dance-with-it” music. The first one is “At the beginning” from “Anastasia”. Anastasia’s the movie, not the singer. There’s a billion editions on iTunes, just choose one you like.

Second: Everytime we touch, Cascada

Your arms are my castle,
Your heart is my sky.
They wpe away tears,
That I cry.

The good and the bad times,
We’ve been through them all.
You make me rise,
When I fall!

Now that is a real dance song. And it sounds great too! Again, search it up on iTunes. There’s a Yanou’s Candlelight Edition which is slower, and great for music videos.

Then there is Amy Pearson’s Ready to Fly, 7’s “Olympic Song”. Nice.

There’s lots more songs. Why by Ayaka is nice if you like Japanese songs… but that’s all for now.

Dear Sony.

Some love for Australia please?

As some people know, Australia has a quota system for the internet. Within the month, a person on an internet plan may only download a specific amount of data before they are either charged extra, or capped to a slower speed for the rest of the month.

There is also a peak/offpeak system, where your quota is split into peak times and offpeak times. Your offpeak quota is usually bigger.

Well, I sent an email to Sony regarding if there was a way to schedule a download so you don’t waste all your peak quota and become capped. Here’s the question and the reply. Continue reading ‘Dear Sony.’

Windows Mobile – Media Center Remote Control

Got Windows Vista Home Premium or Ultimate? Also got a Windows Mobile? Then this is for you.

Again, I will post this as a tutorial-like… tutorial, with steps and what you’ll need, as well as what the final result should be. But before I go into that, I will first detail what makes this possible.

On the 2nd of June, 2008, the Windows Sideshow team over at Microsoft released a program, a “developer preview”, which lets users use the Windows Mobile 5 or 6 device, whether touchscreen or not, as a Sideshow device. That means that all Sideshow gadgets compatible with all other Sideshow devices. This includes Windows Mail, Outlook and Windows Media Player controls.

But much more recently, on July 7th the Windows Sideshow team launched a Microsoft Connection at Microsoft Connect, which when joined allowed users to download their WIndows Media Center remote control gadgets, especially for the Windows Sideshow system. It allows you to view your TV, your music, your videos and pictures as well as control the Media Center. It even displays the album art of the music file you are viewing. That is the technology that makes it possible to do what we are doing today.

iPhone 2.0 firmware is cool!

I just tried it, and I finally got my name on the leaderboard for a song on Tap Tap Revenge (a free game on the AppStore). The power of 2.0.

UPDATE: Apple’s bite, silly orange.

Remember this?

Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s not fixed yet, even though I contacted Apple about it via their contact form.

That proves that Apple doesn’t really care about you if you don’t buy anything from them first. This is worse than any other support I’ve seen, honestly.

Maybe that’s why their Apple has a bite out of it? Because they don’t care if other people bite it?

That is why I’ve decided to stick with the orange. A small orange. No, I’m not talking about the hosting company (http://www.asmallorange.com). I am talking about a small orange which just happens to be alive.

You know, the ones hopping down the street and smiling at you. Its a little silly, a little funny, and a little of a mixture of both.

OMG, get it will you! Oh well, I don’t think you’ll ever get it without seeing the pictures…

Here, take a look: The Orange Gallery

(Orange courtesy of artydude, whose blog can be found here. I took the pictures though.)
