Blogging

Today, I finally asked myself. Why am I writing a blog? What is it doing? If nobody’s going to read it, why in the world am I writing one?

Then I eventually found the answer. It’s a long story. It should be long anyway, but I shortened it quite a bit.

It was 5 years ago, and I was still playing Runescape. Back then, they didn’t have rules about sharing websites or personal information. It was free. Totally free.

And I met an online friend one day. He had a toolkit just for Runescape. And I asked him a question: Why do you bother making one when there’s already one available? Continue reading ‘Blogging’

iPhone on my Birthday

Well, what a surprise. WWDC… a new iPhone is out… cough cough, Surprise… pssh.

Well, amazingly, they called it the “iPhone 3G” and will be available for $199 in July. Oh. Wait. Did I forget something? Oh yes, “for the USA.”

And this iPhone just happens to be announced on June 9th. So no, it wasn’t on my birthday. No, that never meant I get it as a birthday present…

Well, what can be said? There aren’t any “one more thing” things. Nothing more interesting. Nothing less interesting. It’s just “kaplonk”, there. By the way, why would Apple call something of theirs “mobileMe”? If I were them (I’m not, by the way) I would call it the “iMobile” or “iMe” or “iMobileMe” or “iiiiiiiiiiiiiii”. Or, because it links the products together, just call it “i”.

I do like the cloud though, that is the logo of mobileMe. I like clouds.

Anyways, I’m NOT about to get an iPhone anytime soon after I pay for my new phone a few months ago. So no, Apple, you aren’t going to catch me in your cloud.

Hehe, clouds…

I guess I have received my birthday present: an ecard.

Anyways, this blogpost is late. So nothing interesting to really talk about. So I”ll leave it. right. here.

An unfortunate event involving a fridge and me

It was Thursday evening, and I was tired. I just moved the contents of the old freezer to the new one and placed the new fridge in the slot in the kitchen. Then it happened. Something that can be called a tragedy. I tried moving the old bulky refrigerator from theĀ  kitchen to the only place on that storey that still had room: the entrance. That didn’t fit and it blocked the fire escape path so we decided to move it downstairs into the garage.

This week’s turmoil

The coming week is exam week. It is basically an event which happens twice annually that creates conditions like depression and suicide. No, I’m not going to suicide. Just saying, some people may develop a suicidal direction or turn emo.

I only have 4 exams during the week itself, which is fine. For some other unfortunate beings, they have 7. They are spaced rather to my advantage too. On Monday I have 2 exams, on Wednesday I have 1, and on Friday I have 1. This makes them rather easy to study for on-the-go.

Somehow English and Science are not those of the tested subjects. Weird. It does mean that the class marks are counted and I will have a bad ranking for those subjects. I don’t really do well.

I’m most concerned about Maths. I need to come first. Doubt I will though.

I can barely concentrate on studying. ARGH!

If only I was cloud right now (WTF?)… http://spookydoom.deviantart.com/art/Fanimation-The-Cloud-Song-22451106

Losing and Finding

Note: I transferred domain ownership to Andrew tonight for cforum. My other domains (including this one) will still be mine.

I don’t really think that there will be many points about losing in this particular blog post. It will mostly be about finding. If you want to hear about losing, read the previous post. Its all about losing.

This is what you call “Part the 2nd”, or simply, “Part 2″.

I have lost. Not really lost. More like given. I will start again.

I have given. just released the cForum. Doesn’t really matter to anybody. Does it? Nah, it really doesn’t.

Now I shall find.

I shall leave the crowded room in search of new opportunities.

I shall find a new room. An empty room. And stay there. People will join me. I know they will. Soon.

But then, I am just finding. If I cannot find, I will turn back. Does it really matter to anybody? No. It’s just the converse of what happened before, isn’t it?
